Anchor Group Advises Metis Learning Solutions on the Acquisition of Megagic

Anchor acted as buy-side advisor to Metis Learning Solutions Ltd. on its acquisition of 100% of Megagic, a France-based manufacturer of magic kits, science games, and educational toy sets. The transaction closed in the first week of February 2026. 

Through this acquisition, Metis expands its presence into European retail markets, while Megagic benefits from Metis’s strong operational, sourcing, and global distribution capabilities ensuring long-term continuity and growth for the well-established French family-owned business. 

Metis, known for its educational brands Einstein Box and Doctor Jupiter, develops experiential STEM learning products that combine scientific principles with hands-on play. Megagic, founded in 2005, is one of France’s best-known creators of children’s magic sets with distribution across Germany, Benelux, the United Kingdom, and major retail groups including Carrefour.
