Principal transactions
We invest as principals, not passive allocators — deploying our own and aligned partner capital into high-conviction private market opportunities where we can act as active owners, advisors and value-adding partners.
Anchor Group's principal investment activity spans growth equity, majority and control transactions, corporate carve-outs, and structured portfolio management. We invest alongside a select group of family offices, entrepreneurs and strategic co-investors who share our orientation towards durable, long-term value creation.
We bring a principal mindset to everything we own: patient capital, selective ownership, and hands-on partnership grounded in deep sector expertise. Where others allocate, we build — taking responsibility for outcomes and staying closely involved through the life of each position.
Our sector focus spans the industrial transformation themes we know best: the shift to circular materials, the buildout of smart energy infrastructure, the digitisation of supply chains, and the modernisation of traditional consumer businesses.
What we do
Growth & Minority Investments
Minority equity positions in high-growth private companies, with active involvement in strategy, partnerships and commercial development.
Majority & Control Transactions
Majority ownership in established businesses undergoing structural change — including corporate carve-outs and SME acquisitions where we act as the operating partner.
Portfolio & Transition Management
Active management and wind-down of legacy investment portfolios on behalf of corporate venturing units and family offices seeking structured exits.
How we structure investments
Direct principal investment
We invest our own balance sheet capital as lead or co-lead, taking board seats and driving value creation directly.
Syndicated co-investments
We source and structure co-investment opportunities for our network of aligned family offices and entrepreneurs alongside our own capital.
Sector-specific vehicles
We establish and manage dedicated holding structures for focused sector mandates — each with its own governance and investment thesis.
Project & asset financing
We structure and finance project and infrastructure opportunities on an asset-as-a-service basis, particularly in energy and logistics.
Sector focus
Our portfolio
Our investments are held across four dedicated vehicles and platforms, each with a focused mandate. We take minority positions in growth companies, majority stakes where we drive operational transformation, and portfolio positions where we manage transition and value creation through to exit.
