Anchor Acquires Technology Ventures portfolio based in Europe and US from SABIC
Anchor Group has acquired the Technology Ventures portfolio based in the US and Europe from SABIC, under a Share Purchase Agreement. The transaction closed on 31 August 2026, and Anchor is working closely with each portfolio company and its respective stakeholders post-closing to ensure a smooth transition, continue to support ongoing growth initiatives, identify value creation opportunities, and provide strategic and operational guidance to maximize the value of this portfolio.
The portfolio will be managed as part of Anchor's Industrial Investment Partners (IIP) platform, part of its principal transactions activities. The transaction adds a diversified, multi-sector portfolio to Anchor's industrial platform. It also reflects Anchor's approach of partnering with corporates to maximize the value of their strategic investment portfolios — as with wtec.io, a smart-building energy management platform carved out of ZECH Group in partnership with its CVC. In each case, Anchor takes on active ownership, working hands-on to support the next stage of growth and value realization.
Anchor Group is a Switzerland-based principal investment and advisory firm with extensive cross-border investment experience focused on industrial transformation in supply chain & logistics, energy & infrastructure, circular economy and materials, industrial automation, and consumer business modernization.
